On January 9th, ZPEC BP Mud Logging Project received a letter of thanks from the Geological Supervisor of Party A, praising the ZPEC Mud Logging Team for their high efficiency and quality in completing the logging operations of multiple wells during the COVID-19 pandemic. He encouraged the ZPEC Team to continue to make persistent efforts in the next operation and to strive to achieve greater successes.

At present, the two teams of the ZPEC BP Phase II Project have successfully completed the drilling and completing operations of 8 wells in the Rumaila Oilfield. Faced with problems such as the high risk of formation leakage, the existence of hydrogen sulfide, and the easy collapse of shale layers in this oilfield, the on-site ZPEC Mud Logging Team and ZPEC Drilling Team strictly implemented Party A's instructions and drilling design. They prepared each well by carefully comparing the data of adjacent wells to make accurate geological forecasts of each well. By continuous strengthened data monitoring and analysis during daily work, all kinds of complex problems were dealt with in a timely manner, thus proactively preventing issues from occurring and eliminating hazards.
