At 21:00, Iraq local time, on December 28, 2021, ZPEC Rig 28 of the ENI Project in the Zubair Oilfield, successfully passed the on-site inspection and acceptance by Party A. Following the order of the on-site Drilling Supervisor, Mr. Mohammed, ZPEC Rig 28 successfully spudded amidst the thunderous roar of the drilling rig. 

The leaders of Party A, ZPEC Project leaders, ZPEC Rig 28 drilling team, and personnel from cooperating companies participated in the spudding ceremony. The ENI leader, Mr. Giusgge, and the Project Manager of Schlumberger, Mr. Haitham, congratulated ZPEC on behalf of the owner and Party A, respectively. They praised ZPEC’s high efficiency and said that it was an amazing speed, from relocating to spudding, only taking 35 days. It set a good example and a new speed benchmark for the Zubair Oilfield.  They said that ZPEC was a very good partner with standardized management and high execution efficiency. They were full of confidence in the future cooperation between the two parties.
