Recently, as the Wen7-8 Well of Wenbei Oilfield in Xinjiang Province, drilled by ZPEC Rig 13, was drilled to a depth of 923 meters, the annual drilling footage of ZPEC Rig 13 exceeded 40,000 meters. Rig 13 Drilling Team is the first team to achieve this target among ZPEC’s 20 drilling teams and have made outstanding contributions to help increase reserves and production in the Wensu Block. 

Since the beginning of this year, ZPEC Rig 13 has taken the improvement of production timeliness as a breakthrough, coordinated various resources in strict accordance with the drilling and completion operation process, communicated and cooperated closely in time when encountering problems, and ensured that personnel, equipment, and materials were prepared in place, which greatly reduced the possibility of delays. Since the beginning of this year, ZPEC Rig 13 has been the "leader" of the various well teams in the ZPEC Drilling Company, holding all records of the first 20,000 meters, 30,000 meters, and 40,000 meters in drilling footage. In December, benefit from the smooth, efficient, and orderly relocation, the team also won the company's Monthly Rapid Relocation and Installation Index Award.

ZPEC Rig 13 pays special attention to production safety and cost savings. In the past year, ZPEC Rig 13 has continuously strengthened the management and control of materials during the drilling operation. Responsibilities and accountabilities have been assigned to individuals, which have greatly saved the production costs. On the premise of ensuring downhole safety and protecting oil and gas formations, measures were adopted such as the use of new and old downhole motors and reuse of mud in accordance with local conditions to achieve efficient, economical, and high-quality operation, which were highly praised by ZPEC Drilling Company and ZPEC (Aksu) Oil & Gas Company. Since the beginning of this year, ZPEC Rig 13 has also actively promoted the work concept of "refined operation, standardized site, scientific planning, and technical leadership" to solve operation problems and ensure the safe, stable, efficient, and orderly operations. Mr. Li Bin, Rig Manager, said that all the cadres and employees of ZPEC Rig 13 will continue to do their work well, strictly abide by the winter safety operating procedures, and contribute more to the increase in reserves and production of the ZPEC Wenbei Oilfield.
