ZPEC Holds Joint Meeting With Aksu Government in Aksu City, Xinjiang Province

On October 1, 2021, the occasion of the National Day, the joint meeting between ZPEC and Aksu government was held in Aksu City, Xinjiang Province. Mr. Xue Jianqiang, the Member of the Aksu Prefectural Committee and the Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, and Mr. Li Chundi, the Chairman of ZPEC, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The two parties conducted in-depth exchanges on enhancing cooperation and harmonious development, further consolidating consensus and opening a new chapter of the oilfields and local areas integrated development.

Mr. Liu Xiaofeng, the Deputy Secretary of Aksu Municipal Party Committee and the Executive Deputy Mayor, presided over the meeting. Mr. Chen Jie, the Member of the Party Leadership Group of Aksu City Government, the Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Economic and Technological Development Zone, and the leaders of the Development and Reform Commission, the Finance Bureau, the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and the Taxation Bureau, as well as Mr. Shi Shuyi, the Vice President of ZPEC and the General Manager of ZPEC Drilling Company, and Mr. Li Xuesong, the General Manager of ZPEC Oil and Gas Company and others attended the meeting.

Chairman Li Chundi then gave speeches. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Aksu Municipal Party Committee, government and cadres of all ethnic groups for their strong support to ZPEC Oil and Gas development. He pointed out that Aksu has outstanding people and rich in resources, and the exploration and development of the Wensu Block has continued to make important breakthroughs. Among them, the exploratory wells deployed in the area of Aksu City have good oil and gas displays. He said that in the future, ZPEC will firmly establish the idea of a oilfields and local areas are an integrated part, fulfill its social responsibilities, enhance mutual assistance between the oilfields and local areas, and expand the areas of cooperation. Both parties work hand in hand to create a better future.

At last, Mr. Xue Jianqiang expressed congratulations to ZPEC’s rapid opening of the Wensu block in just three years, creating an unprecedented achievements in the domestic oil and gas industry of "One year breakthrough, two years of construction, and three years of production". He pointed out that this meeting is a new starting point for the integration and development of the two parties. Government departments at all levels in Aksu City will adhere to the principle of "One enterprise, one policy, precise service", and strive to solve the enterprises encountered problems in the development process and ensure ZPEC could enjoy all preferential policies. He hopes that the two sides will further build consensus, expand areas, and work together to promote the formation of a new pattern of "Community of destiny and community of interests" in the oilfields and open a new chapter in the integrated development of oilfields and local areas.
