On May 25, 2021, ZPEC Iraqi Petronas Cementing Team received a Commendatory Letter from Petronas praising their excellent cementing job for the Ga-K118P Well. Ga-K118P Well is the project’s first well after resumption of work from the COVID19 pandemic. This high deviation directional well kicked-off from 440m and was completed at 3,693m, with a total of 4 sections.

The letter said, “Congratulations on successfully and smoothly cementing the section hole and pressure testing for completion of Ga-K118P Well. The cementing bond quality fully meets pay zone requirements and the perforation job was performed as per designed interval because of good cement. The excellent performance shows us your cementing crew’s excellent abilities.
