On the afternoon of May 13^th, 2021, the Oil and Gas Resources Management Reform Research Group of the Ministry of Natural Resources visited ZPEC Aksu Oil & Gas Company. They fully affirmed the series of breakthroughs and efforts made by ZPEC in the reform of the national oil & gas system by effectively demonstrating its advantages. They expressed the hope that the company would seize the opportunity to seek further development and to make sustainable contributions to guarantee national energy security as well as local economic development.

The Research Group consisted of Mr. Yonggang Yang, Director of the Oil and Gas Department of the Mining Rights Management Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources, accompanied by Mr. Xinkun Wang, a secondary researcher of the Mining Rights Management Department of the Department of Natural Resources of Xinjiang Autonomous Region, and Mr. Yong Yang,  Party Secretary and Deputy Director of Aksu Natural Resources Bureau.

The Research Team affirmed ZPEC’s technical advantages, equipment and drilling advantages shown in the exploration and development of Wensu Oilfield, and pointed out that ZPEC was the first participant of the "Private Enterprise Square" of the National Oil and Gas Reform. By making continuous breakthroughs in reserve declaration, capacity construction, and crude oil production, ZPEC proved the initial results of the National Oil and Gas Reform with facts. They hoped that ZPEC would continue to give full play to their pioneering advantages, constantly strengthening their core competitiveness of block exploration and development through upstream and downstream integration, transform their energy advantages into economic advantages, and make continuous contributions to the local economic development and national energy security.
