On April 30, 2021, at 23:30 Iraq local time, Ga-K118P Well successfully completed drilling. This was the first well completed after resumption due to COVID19 and was 10 days ahead of schedule. With designed depth 3,693 meters, Petronas was highly satisfied with ZPEC DD Team’s performance and sent a commendatory letter to praise it’s outstanding performance and wishes for further mutual cooperation.

The letter said ZPEC DD Team provided them with professional and high efficient directional drilling services, completed the Ga-K118P directional drilling and M/LWD services without any tool failures or NPT records, carried out soft formation build up, and anti-collision calculations with trajectory control in the complex formation.
