ZPEC Rig 27 set two new records in one month of 2021 in Zubair Oilfield drilling operations.  Both ENI and Halliburton highly praised the accomplishments and recognized ZPEC Rig 27 as a powerful and reliable "Teammate".

On March 19^th, the new Well ZB-480 was successfully drilled by ZPEC Rig 27.  This occurred only 29 days after ZPEC Rig 27 finished completion of its last well, Well ZB-484, which started drilling on February 18^th. No safety incidents nor accidents occurred during the 29 days, which set a new record in the Zubair Oilfield. During Well ZB-480’s operation, ZPEC Rig 27 set another record by completing the drilling and cementing operation of the first section (607 meters) in 41 hours.

Without the hard efforts of ZPEC Rig 27’s cadres and employees, the excellent job couldn’t have been gained, especially in the whole operational process, as they overcame the COVID19 pandemic, which is still very serious in Iraq. However, ZPEC Rig 27 conquered those difficulties and finished the drilling and completion operation of Well ZB-484 safely and successfully, and moved 33 kilometers away to the new Well ZB-480.
