On February 23^rd, the third "Fragrant City Craftsman" selection activity, jointly launched by the Chengdu Xindu District Committee Organization Department, Xindu District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and Xindu District Federation of Trade Unions, was officially announced. Five Kunlun Company employees won this honor.

As a petroleum equipment manufacturing enterprise with a 14-year history of development, Kunlun Company is constantly pursuing innovation and upgrading, and strives to cultivate the "craftsman spirit" in the workforce. Through tackling key technologies, the company’s technical strength, R&D level, innovation capability, and industry core competitiveness have been greatly improved. It has successively achieved a number of industry-leading scientific and technological innovations in the fields of serialized oil drilling rigs and top drives. A number of national patents have been awarded. Jianyou Li, Shengzheng Dong, Hongbo Han, and Lili Guo are experts in mechanical, general, and structural design.  They were named "Fragrant City Craftsman" this time.  Additionally, Tianshun Zhang’s skills as a riveting and welding expert on the front line of manufacturing was recognized. Based upon the spirit of ingenuity, concentrated scientific research, bold innovation, and strict quality control, they have made positive contributions for the products of ZPEC to reach the leading level in the domestic industry and sold to many countries around the world.

The third "Fragrant City Craftsman" selection activity aims to further accelerate the construction of a high-quality modern industrial system in Chengdu's Xindu District.  This will effectively strengthen the construction of the industrial worker team in the new era, vigorously promote the spirit of craftsmen in the new era, and inspire the general public’s labor enthusiasm, innovation potential, and creative vitality.  The layered recommendations, qualification reviews, appraisal reviews, media publicity, and collective research will be qualifications selected from multiple industries such as equipment manufacturing, aerospace power, rail transit, medicine and food, etc. The outstanding skilled talents who represent the courage to innovate and to explore and have made remarkable achievements will be commended.
