A few days ago, the last 8 vehicles of petroleum equipment and materials (oversized pieces) of the Sino-Tharwa Project were successfully shipped from ZPEC’s Shanghai Lingang Base, marking the completion of the successful port gathering work of the Sino-Tharwa Project.

At the beginning of May 2020, ZPEC signed a petroleum equipment sales contract worth $31.4 million USD with Sino-Tharwa Drilling Company to provide oilfield equipment such as work-over rigs. This is the last batch of equipment and materials for the Sino-Tharwa Project. The first two batches of emergency trailers and 750 Workover Rigs have already arrived at the Kuwait operation site and have started oilfield operations.

Since the delivery date of the third batch of oilfield equipment and materials for the Sino-Tharwa Project was determined, the employees at all levels of ZPEC have worked on a coordinated schedule with the goal to deliver a unified shipment from the Group. There is no slack in any of the work. The company's leadership team holds on-site office meetings every morning to implement various measures, coordinate and solve various problems, do everything possible to overcome difficulties, rush to complete the design requirements, and take positive actions with the rectification suggestions put forward by the customer.

With the international freight of the Sino-Tharwa Project being affected by the global pandemic, the Equipment Group's Marketing Department has carefully deployed and worked closely with Sino-Tharwa and freight forwarding companies to communicate and coordinate with multiple parties to solve the challenges of port loading and unloading, poor logistics, and shipping schedule changes. The adverse effects have ensured that the project will be shipped to the port on schedule during the pandemic.

The scheduled port shipment of the Sino-Tharwa Project reaffirms the fact that ZPEC has successfully entered the high-end market in Kuwait. In the context of the gradual recovery of international oil prices and the increasing demand of the industry, ZPEC will continue to carry forward the corporate spirit of "customer-centric and struggling-oriented", to continue to create more value for customers, and to make every effort to improve the high-end competitiveness in the global field of oil and gas equipment.
