At the beginning of the new year, in order to arrange the work for the new year and strengthen the cohesion of the teams from China and Egypt, ZPEC Egypt organized the 2021 Annual Work Meeting in Cairo on January 7th. Because of the severe epidemic in Egypt, a total of more than 50 key Chinese and Egyptian employees participated online through the Zoom conference system and successfully completed various agendas.

Based on the consideration that all Egyptian employees can deeply understand the spirit of the meeting, the meeting was mainly in Arabic. During the meeting, the Egyptian representatives of various departments reported on the work of the department in 2020 in English and Arabic. The Chinese leaders of each department summarized and analyzed the achievements and shortcomings of the department in 2020 and carried out the outlook planning. Among them, the Production Operations Department focused on analyzing the technical data of the wells completed in 2020 and affirmed the highlights in production. First of all, the foam drilling used 12 1/4 PDC bits, which increased the speed.  The second was the deployment of new well sites in advance and complete the relocation of mud system and material room and other equipment during the operation, shortening the relocation time. The third was to use downhole HDTV to increase the understanding of the reservoir, to meet the completion needs of Party A, and to save the cost of outsourcing", etc., and to summarize the existing shortcomings.  The meeting organized everyone to share and exchange ideas around the key tasks of 2021, laying the groundwork for further safe and efficient operations. Finally, Wei Li, General Manager of the Egyptian company, conveyed the spirit of the group’s annual meeting, and briefly summarized the main work of the Egyptian company in 2020 in a concise and clear PPT format, and pointed out the company’s outstanding achievements in five areas: The epidemic prevention work is solid and effective, the timeliness of production has been steadily improved, the integrated operation ability has been enhanced, the quality of the team has been further improved, and the logistics support capabilities have been significantly enhanced. Then he made specific requirements for the work in 2021. He encouraged everyone to work together and forge ahead to strive for better performance. He also extended New Year greetings and sincere blessings to everyone.

The successful convening of the Egyptian company's work meeting has further deepened the understanding of the situation, the goals and measures faced by the Chinese and Egyptian employees in 2021, and the enhanced sense of belonging of the Egyptian employees and the confidence of the Chinese and Egyptian teams in completing the tasks.
