On October 20th, two Sino-Tharwa 750 Workover Rigs, designed and manufactured by ZPEC, successfully passed the inspection and acceptance of a third-party supervision company and completed the shipment at ZPEC’s Shanghai Lingang Base. The delivery of this batch of equipment marks the successful entry of Zhongman Equipment Manufacturing into the high-end market in Kuwait and will play a positive role in the company’s future development

At the beginning of May, ZPEC signed an equipment manufacturing contract for six workover rigs with Sino-Tharwa Drilling Company. This shipment is the first two of the contract. Sino-Tharwa Drilling Company was jointly funded and established in September 2005 by Sinopec Xinxing Petroleum Company, the Natural Gas Holding Company under the Ministry of Petroleum of Egypt, and Sava Oil Company. It is now the second largest oil drilling company in Egypt. This type of workover rig purchased by Sino-Tharwa Company has reasonable design, advanced performance, and high degrees of automation. The main body of the drilling rig adopts a self-tensioning rope structure and is equipped with two types of rigs for normal overhaul and minor repair. All parts are consigned with tires, which is convenient and quick to move, and meet the needs of customers for fast and efficient drilling operations.

The implementation of the Sino-Tharwa project is time-critical. During the period, the cadres and employees at all levels set the delivery schedule as the goal, with scientific deployment, and cooperation in unity. The key stage of project commissioning and acceptance occurred dring the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival. In order to ensure the delivery on schedule, the company’s leaders led all equipment personnel to work during the holidays and promoted the "iron-blooded journey spirit", which ultimately ensured that the products were loaded at the port on schedule.

The successful shipment of this equipment laid the foundation for the comprehensive delivery of the additional four projects.
