Since the start of the SCP Project, it has been guided by ZPEC Drilling Company’s working principles of "internal leakage prevention, external prevention input, and people-oriented". All three drilling teams have achieved safe and rapid drilling operations. Facing the still severe epidemic situation, the project planned ahead and actively sought material suppliers to ensure the supply of epidemic prevention materials, production materials, and the normal production of the well team. Since the epidemic, the outstanding performance of the ZPEC Drilling Yan'an Project has been highly praised and affirmed by Party A and the local government.

At present, the Project’s three well teams have a strong production atmosphere of “comparing, learning, catching up, helping, and surpassing”, and employee morale is high. Among them, the YB014-H06 Well,  drilled by ZPEC Team 9, was successfully completed 24 days in advance, breaking the record of the well construction period of the Panlong Gas Production Plant of Yanchang Petroleum and Gas Exploration Company.  While doing a good job in the prevention and control of the epidemic, ZPEC Team 12 made every effort to ensure prevention and production. Team 12 was awarded the title of "Excellent Drilling Team" specifically issued by Party A in the standard inspection and evaluation of the Yanchang Oil Field. Team 12 won second place in the Block.  The YB015-H01T01 Well, drilled by ZPEC’s Team 17, completed its drilling ahead of schedule when the horizontal section footage reached 1,200 meters. Team 17 has now completed all the slots designed for its platform. The platform has constructed 9 wells, including 6 horizontal wells and 3 S wells. The ZPEC Well Group has not moved for 3 1/2 years, which has created good benefits for the company, while reducing moving and waiting costs. Since the Well Group produces multiple high-yield wells, after the completion of the wells, Party A must test production immediately and request the team to move away within a week. Because the derrick has not been dismantled for many years, it has increased the difficulty and risk factor of dismantling the equipment. For this reason, Project Manager Zhenhua Li personally led a team and cooperated with safety and equipment supervisors to guide and supervise dismantling equipment on the spot and in the rain until 11 or 12 o'clock at night. In early autumn, there was a continuous drizzle in Yan'an. Because it rained for days, the road was muddy and it was very difficult for the moving truck to travel. Everyone overcame many difficulties and used manual repairs and forklifts to safely deliver the moving trucks to the new well site. In the end, all equipment was removed from the old well site within 4 days and the relocation task was completed ahead of schedule. The spirit of defying difficulties of the ZPEC drilling personnel also deeply moved Party A. The leaders of Party A gave a thumbs up: "ZPEC, good job."

In the SCP Block, the three teams of the ZPEC Yan'an Project all ranked top in the comprehensive evaluation. Party A's SCP also expressed its willingness to continue to work with ZPEC. Despite the dual impact of the epidemic and the continued low international oil prices, the Yan'an Project Leader expressed confidence to complete and to exceed the company's profit target, and hand in a satisfactory answer to the company at the end of the year.
