On August 14^th, ZPEC held the "Wenbei Oilfield Wen 7 Block Ground Planning Scheme Review Meeting" in Beijing. Through video connection, leading experts from Shanghai headquarters, Xinhuaxia Energy, Aksu Zhongman Oil and Gas, and many invited experts in the domestic oil and gas industry conducted a review and discussions on the "Surface Planning Plan for Block Wen 7 of Wenbei Oilfield in ZPEC."  They put forward a series of valuable suggestions, laying a good foundation for the next step of reporting, approval, and implementation of the plan.

Shenghou He, former Deputy Chief Engineer of Sinopec, Kehua Zhang, former Vice President of Sinopec, Wenqi Zuo, former Director of Sinopec Shanghai Ocean Bureau, Yong Zhang, former Deputy Director of Sinopec Oilfield Division, and Zhaoyou Chen, former Deputy Chief Engineer of Sinopec North China Branch, and many other evaluation experts attended this meeting.

At the meeting, Mingzhong Liang, Deputy Chief Geologist of Xinhuaxia Company, briefly introduced the main points of the development plan of Wen 7 Block. Then Xiaofang Liu, Manager of Exploration and Development Department of the Group's Oilfield Division, gave a special report on the ground engineering plan of Wenbei Oilfield Wen 7 Block. Subsequently, Haimin Zhou, General Manager of Xinhuaxia Company, notified Wenbei Oilfield's mining license application and the ground engineering construction work processes. The leaders and experts at the meeting conducted in-depth discussions on the preliminary ground plan that had been formed and respectively expressed their opinions from a professional perspective.

Finally, Chundi Li, Chairman of the ZPEC, made a concluding speech. He pointed out that the Wenbei Oilfield was the first domestic private company to obtain an oil and gas block through the state's public auction and transfer. It is a milestone in the history of domestic oil and gas reform. The opinions of the experts are of great guiding significance for the construction of oil fields. He asked all relevant units to carefully study expert opinions, improve the development plan, and strive to build the Wenbei Oilfield into a first-class intelligent green oilfield.

Prior to the approval of the reserves report of Block 7, the company organized this meeting to better promote the subsequent development and construction of the oilfield. In accordance with the principles of high standards, environmental protection, and economical applicability, Aksu Zhongman Oil and Gas and the expert team from Xinhuaxia Energy actively implemented the Group's overall thinking on oilfield development and construction. After preliminary demonstration and compilation, a preliminary ground plan was completed, which will be further developed and improved in the future

Since 2019, Wen 7 Block has made major breakthroughs in oil and gas exploration and is currently in the trial production stage. The company completed the reserve reporting work at the end of July.
