At 12:15am on July 20^th, the FNHW4035 Well, drilled by ZPEC Team 11, reached 2,234 meters, marking the team’s annual total footage exceeding 10,000 meters, Team 11 became the first team to reach 10,000 meters in 2020 at the ZPEC Mahu Project located in Xinjiang, China.

So far, Drilling Team 11 has drilled 3 wells this year, and handed over 2 horizontal wells. Due to the impact of the Covid19 epidemic, the resumption of work after the Chinese New Year holidays was about one month later than usual with the employees arriving at the well on March 20. Under the leadership of Project Manager Hanjun Ren, the team carried out specific activities of "combating epidemics, securing safety, and rushing production". While strictly grasping the prevention and control of the epidemic, the entire site was able to comprehensively strengthen safety management and production operations to ensure that all tasks were safe and effective.

ZPEC Drilling Team 11 always puts safety first. The employees have developed the habit of consciously operating in compliance with the regulations. They are meticulous when changing shifts. If standards are not met, there is no handover. In the daily operations, the company's standards are strictly followed with no deviation.  Procedures are never simplified. Comprehensive and detailed inspections of safety points and equipment maintenance are conducted and any hidden dangers are immediately rectified.

In view of the pressure system disorders in the Mahu Block, the mud personnel are required to constantly adjust the drilling fluid content, so that performance and parameters were scientific and reasonable and met the design requirements. By grasping the production rhythm, continuing to implement standardized operations, and even, constant drilling ensured well quality. The whole team steadily worked together in the spirit of "combating epidemics, securing safety, and rushing production" to lay a good foundation for the high-quality and efficient completion of the tasks assigned by the company.
