BP Project R-691 Well Successfully Drilled and Highly Praised

At 18:00 local Iraqi time on July 17^th, theR-691 Well of the BP Project was successfully delivered andhanded over. So far, ZPEC has successfully completed 5 wells in the Rumaila Oilfield.Well R-691 is the first main-pay oil well in Rumaila Oilfield drilled byZPEC. It is classified as a difficult five-section,s-type directional well with a depth of 3,501 meters and displacement of 571meters. The overall ROP is higher in the same block.

The Directional Well Team organized several pre-spudmeetings with all of the relative leaders and teams to establish an optimalwell project including the fastest drilling speed, the safest trajectory, andthe most economical production. Everyoneworked with a brave heart and coordinated operations while flexibly adjustingthe trajectory according to the characteristics of the stratum. Thus obtaining a high-quality drillingoperation, gaining valuable experience, and providing lessons for the smoothconstruction of deep wells and large-displacement wells in the future.
