On July 21^st,the People’s Daily published anarticle in their third edition with the headline: “Large Desert in Egypt Will EventuallyBecome a Good Field”, reporting that ZPEC-Egypt Company had implemented China’s national strategy of “OneBelt, One Road”. It explained how the well project will improve the localpeople's livelihood while making positive contributions to the development ofEgypt's agriculture. The report was heavily reprinted as soon as it waspublished, which caused a strong positive response among the ZPEC-Egypt Companyand the other Chinese-funded enterprises in Egypt. Since its establishment in September 2016, ZPEC-EgyptCompany has been forging ahead and actively exploring. It has successivelycooperated with clients such as Zhongsa, the local military, and the topagricultural company, Daltex, signing 7 contracts with about 400 water wellprojects.  Up to now, 121 high quality,efficient wells have been completed and ZPEC’s brand influence has been establishedin the local drilling market. It also has a high reputation amongChinese-funded enterprises in Egypt. The outstanding performance has arousedwidespread interest from major media in China.
