OnApril 6^th, the Su 47-10-78 Well, drilled by ZPEC Rig 8, wascompleted successfully. The average speed of the whole well was 19.4 meters perhour, the drilling cycle was 12.83 days, and the well construction cycle was14.08 days. The setting of the construction cycle record marked the beginningof a good start for the Sulige Project.

The depth ofthis well is 3,734 meters. The initial electrical test was successful and thecompletion period was 3.04 days, which was highly recognized by the client. Onthe afternoon of April 14^th, LiuYangang, Manager of the SuligeProject, and his team arrived at the site for inspection work where theyconveyed the greetings and praise from Mr. Zhong, General Manager of ZPEC DrillingCompany, for their successful efforts of ensuring safety, reducing costs, andincreasing efficiency.

TheSu 47-10-78 Well is the first well completed after the resumption of work by Rig8. It is a vertical well drilled with a designed depth of 3,731 meters at theThird Gas Production Plant in Angsu Town, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia AutonomousRegion. The structure of the block is the Yishan Slope in the Ordos Basin,which has the risks of poor well wall stability, formation loss, and easycollapse of well sections. The leaders of the project and the technical teamactively communicated and discussed the project with the client. They repeatedlyinvestigated the geological downhole data, analyzed specific potentialproblems, and formulated detailed production plans, practical technicalmeasures, and operational plans. During the construction process, they strictlyorganized production, improved safety management, arranged logistics support,strictly followed technical requirements, boldly tested new tools, and optimizedthe drilling tool combinations and drill bits. They also maintained mudperformance, preventing complex underground accidents in order to ensure therealization of maximum speed and efficiency goals.

Affectedby COVID-19, the Sulige Project resumed work this year more than a month laterthan in previous years. On March 19^th, once the drilling team hadgathered at the site, everyone was enthusiastic and full of energy. Theystrictly implemented the company's arrangements, taking into account the virusprevention and production work, completed the equipment rectification in onlytwo days, and passed the acceptance inspection on March 22^nd. Thesecond section was then started as scheduled on March 25^th.
