On the morning of May 25^th, Chen Qingjun, President of ZPEC Group, accompanied by Jin Kun, Financial Manager of the Iraqi branch, visited the West Khourna project.

After checking the accommodations and catering situation at GCC base, President Chen and his delegation set off for the Y787 Well drilled by ZPEC Drilling Team 28 and held a meeting to discuss its progress.

During the conference, Manager Zhang Changxing introduced the drilling operational manual, the basis of the main design, the lessons drawn from the advanced experience of the oil service companies, information from the integration of adjacent wells, and complex circumstances, processing strategy, etc. The information sharing helped to improve the working procedures and improve efficiency, thus reducing the invalid hours and accidents to be used for leverage points in the process of operation in order to achieve cost savings and profit maximization.

In this regard, President Chen gave full recognition, pointing out: "We go back to the West after a few years.  This place has both opportunities and challenges, with a narrow chance to win. So this return shot must stand firm, we must plant ZPEC’s flag firmly into this piece of land." In addition, President Chen also stressed that in the management of project personnel, ZPEC should match old and new, keep fighting, and build a platform for excellent employees to display their strengths. Only in this way can ZPEC train a team that is capable of fighting and winning in the “Iron Army Spirit”.
