On June 5^th at 9:00am Egyptian local time, the whole towing and moving of ZPEC XJ6 30T drilling rig of the Daltex Project in the Farafra Block was successfully completed.  This marked the first time such a move was attempted at the project.

The relocation distance was 900 meters and took a total of 30 minutes. In the early morning of June 5th, all staff of the 6 ZPEC drilling teams held their heads high. After checking all of the moving equipment, the Operation Manager divided the labor among all the staff to ensure the safety and stability of the entire moving process. After all the links were in place, with the command from the General Commander, Manager Gao Fengdong, the two trailers started in unison and the whole rig began to move slowly, leaving the old well location smoothly. The rig moved slowly and steadily through the desert toward the new site.

Founded in 1964, Daltex is engaged in agricultural reclamation, farm operation, storage and logistics of agricultural products, import and export of agricultural products, and other fields. Its main markets are mainly in Europe and the Middle East. The whole rig relocation is the first time for Daltex Project and for ZPEC China’s Egyptian company. This drilling rig was independently developed, designed, and manufactured by Zhongman Equipment Group. It performed remarkably in the rapid relocation process, which not only greatly shortened the relocation period, but also left a deep impression on Party A and won unanimous praise, laying a good foundation for the company to further expand its business in the Egyptian market.
