With Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, Li Chundi, Chairman of ZPEC Group, visited the Chengdu Manufacturing Base hoping to accelerate the upgrading and transformation of the equipment system, cultivate market advantages, and constantly improve the innovation ability and efficiency level of the enterprise.  While visiting the front-line employees, he was able to inspect and guide various aspects of their work.

In the afternoon of September 6^th, after hearing the report of the year's product development design work, Mr. Li fully affirmed the research achievements of the year.  Looking ahead, he was clear in emphasizing the need to further speed up the development of new products, such as the automated drilling rig, and to put these high-tech and high value-added products into production as soon as possible.

Early in the morning on September 7^th, Mr. Li arrived in the rain at the new Electronic Workshop Project under construction at the Base.  He inspected details about the construction progress, safety protection measures, quality control measures, etc.  Mr. Li stressed that project personnel must be in strict accordance with the construction norms, to ensure the progress quality and safety at the same time, in order to build and complete a satisfactory and successful project.

Later, Mr. Li went to the Production Workshop to express his gratitude to the front-line employees who worked overtime and kept their posts.  At the production site, he listened to an introduction by the project and technical leaders, then then he spoke, saying   "ZPEC top workers have established a good brand image and its successful breakthrough points out the direction for ZPEC Equipment Group, which is to move away from the low-end market and jump out of low-level competition by upgrading and transforming in time through the further development of high-tech, automatic and intelligent products, and production of more high-tech and high-value-added products.”

Chairman Li and party also visited the Downhole Equipment Manufacturing Field, the Electronic Workshop, and the Orientation Instrument Repair Shop.  He had an intimate conversation with the program manager, explaining his hope to seize additional orders, to increase the intensity of their work, to develop the new products under strict quality controls, and to ensure on-time product delivery.  But, he also stressed the importance of overseas spare parts warehouse construction as well as the importance of after-sales service work.

Through Mr. Li’s on-the-spot investigation, the Equipment Group gave high affirmation of the achievements of the Chengdu Base.  He encouraged everyone to continue to carry forward in the “Iron Army Spirit”, arduously struggling and further adjusting the industrial structure, focusing on business advantages, attracting more talent needed for the development, reform, and optimization of technological processes while steadily improving the efficiency of the enterprise.
