At 8:30 am Iraq local time on October 22^nd, the third directional EB-101 well of the East Baghdad Project was successfully completed at a depth of at 3,430 meters.  The speed of this well was greatly improved and the drilling cycle was shortened compared with the previous two wells due to the strong technical support from the ZPEC directional well team.  The completion of this well marked the successful conclusion of the first phase of the highly-deviated cluster well contract.  To this end, MdOC sent a letter of commendation praising the professionalism, dedication, and cooperative spirit of ZPEC team.  As a result, Zhongman Petroleum was invited to participate in the second phase horizontal well construction.
