On May 18th, Group CEO Zhang Yun, accompanied by Rosneft Project Manager Mr. Zhao Ming and Chief Engineer Mr. Shao Fei, went to wellsites 103 and 105 of ZPEC Rigs 31 and 32.  He cordially expressed greetings to the Chinese and foreign employees who were fighting on the frontline and praised their outstanding performance.  He encouraged everyone to make persistent efforts to maintain the good momentum of safe and efficient operations, and to accumulate experience and establish models for additional ZPEC projects in the Russian-speaking area.

President Zhang and his group drove to the wellsite and shook hands with the staff.  They then conveyed the greetings and wishes of ZPEC Chairman Mr. Li Chundi and other group leaders.  He expressed appreciation for everyone's working enthusiasm in such a cold weather.  He carefully inspected the progress of the relocation and installation, equipment operations, and on-site construction.  He asked everyone to pay attention to security and to strictly abide by the operating rules.

In the Gubkin Project Department, CEO Mr. Zhang organized a symposium to hear Mr. Zhao Ming's report on the operation of the project and the next work plan. The following four requirements were put forward: First, employees must pay great attention to well control and security. Second, employees should strengthen the exchange with local employees, constantly summing up their experiences.  Third, the project department should attract and cultivate local talents, and improve and expand the incentive mechanism at the same time.  Lastly, he stressed the importance of improving the project management level and encouraged everyone to develop personal career development plans and to seize every opportunity to strengthen their personal qualities.
