On May 19th at 1:30 pm, the final assembly of the first 90DB Drilling Rig designed by Zhongman Petroleum Equipment (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was completed at the assembly site and the derrick and sub-substructure rose successfully. The successful raising of this rig marks the beginning of a new era for ZPEC.  It has also laid a solid foundation for the drilling sector to explore more complicated wells and higher difficulty wells, creating better market opportunities.

The 90DB’s design and production mission was assigned at the beginning of 2016. As the new design began production, it was strongly supported by the Lingang government, which helped to push the production schedule.

The 90DB optimal design boasts a drawworks with new highlights. The hoisting capacity is greatly improved and the appearance is more efficiently dedicated.  Additionally, the P2200 Mud Pump and the 495 Rotary Table are also new designs, produced and employed by ZPEC. （Reported by Qi Haijun）
