At 3 :00 pm on January 3, 2017, Drilling Team 26’s relocation work was successfully completed and passed the owner’s acceptance criteria.  On January 4th, spudding successfully began.

 

Relocation work happened during the rainy season and, under the guidance of Platform Manager Chen Xiaorong, the team members were not bothered by the hardships of the wind and rain, nor of the mud.  The camp installation was completed within 1 day and the installation of the derrick and the well hoisting of Well P18 was completed in only 2 days.  The well site commissioning of all equipment and the functional test was completed in 4 days.  All work was performed with zero errors, zero accidents, and zero risks.  The successfully completed relocation work passed the Owner’s acceptance.

 

The Owner gave the manager and the outstanding employee an award, which said: "Hard work and commitment to safe working techniques displayed during RIG move in tough weather conditions".  This is an affirmation to all ZPEC staff and also to Russia's gas project.  (reported by Lian Chenggong Feng Xiaoxu)
