One July 23, ZPEC Team 15 spud Well Su75-48-30X successfully in Sulige gas field, which is a delightful step of the company in domestic oil development area. It has significance to hammer-harden the crew and promote the strength of Zhongman Drilling.

Sulige gas field locates in middle-northern of Erdos Basin with exploration area of more than 40,000 square meters and resource capacity of 4,000,000,000,000 square meters. It’s the first Super-Scale gas filed. In June 2009, Changqing Oilfield Company signed the cooperative developing agreement with 5 unlisted companies, which indicates its full activation of exploration and production. In early July, ZPEC came to an agreement with Bohai Exploration and Drilling Company, which is the general contractor of Block 75 and 76 of Sugeli Gas Field. The preparation of drilling rig was immediately started.

It has high standard and strict requirement for gas well drilling. To ensure the smooth start of the drilling rig, the company established Sugeli Project Team which is formed with skilled members for the sake of well preparation; meanwhile, the company readjusts and consolidates the management and mainstay of production. On July 17, ZPEC Team 15 took a long distance mobilization of 400km from Yan’an to Sugeli and installation was made immediately after unload. It came up to meet initial open standard on July 22. On July 23, drill tools, BOP, casings arrived and been unloaded through the night; mouse hole was made at the same time and got stud. The surface layer of 500m was finished on July 25 and casing and cementing was completed on July 26. The members of Team 15 were led by Liu Zhengguo, the Rig Manager and Wu Longyu, the Technician. They overcame difficulties of high altitude, strong wind, high strength ultraviolet radiation, making the most of the glory of “Dragon Troop” of ZPEC Drilling. At the critical moment, Wang Deliang, the General Engineer of the Group resides at the well site to ensure the smooth stud of this well. (Li Guochun)
