On October 31, at 8:00p.m., ZPEC Drilling successfully achieved a year-to-date drilling footage of 400,000 meters.  This was accomplished one month earlier than at the same time last year.  It is significant for the 2009 ZPEC Drilling Plan which was to complete 450,000 meters with an ultimate goal of achieving 500,000 meters annually.

Since September, ZPEC Drilling announced a planned effort of "working hard for 100 days to achieve 500,000 meters this year" and communicated this "goal spirit" to each management level and drilling crew, as well as publicized it in a motivation policy.  Positive responses were received from different units.  In mid-October, ZPEC President Mr. Li visited ZPEC Drilling and announced a series of positive measurements to stimulate workers' working spirits.  Crews that reached their targets were incented with bonuses.  Since then, each team began to compete with each other.  Up to now, Teams 13, 8, 7, and 4 have broken 40,000 meters, while Teams 6, 12, and 5 have been achieved 30,000.  Presently, the whole company are participating and are anxious to realize the goal.
