From January 1st to 22nd, 14 employees of ZPEC Drilling were trained for 14 days on the professional skills of integrated logging in Shanghai SK Petroleum & Chemical Equipment Corporation Ltd. With the instruction of trainer, these students made a quick progress in both theoretical level and practical operation.

This training program taken in the winter break is follow up the strategy of integrated logging project development of ZPEC Drilling and meet the requirements of future expanding of team and cultivating back-up personnel. The trainees came from integrated logging crew, geological logging division and other sector, who are all the technical backbones and operative experts in the grass-roots units. They cherished this opportunity very much. Although most of them barely knew the operation and use of the CMS integrated logging unit which is the highlight of this training program, they were eager to learn and ask, and got fruitful results. The several students coming from integrated logging crew had operated such instrument, so they could learn and communicate pointedly. Through exchange with the teacher, they found the solutions to the problems they had met in work, also learned how maintain the instrument, even proposed questions and thought from a high level.

Trainee Chao Deng said, “although having met many difficulties during the learning, we know very well that the responsibilities to shoulder, and we believe that as long as we have tried and paid efforts, all the difficulties will become nothing’. He held the view that to foster this team if a long term hard task, and after return they would select out-standers to cultivate and guide the novice by the experienced, by these measures they could build more professionals for the integrated logging project.
