ZPEC Group Company Searching for “Employment Localization” HR Strategy for Its Overseas Projects<br

As the international market continues to expand, ZPEC’s HR Department has been searching for a new strategy of “Talent Internationalization and Employment Localization”. At present, ZPEC Group Company has 6 drilling crews with drilling rigs working abroad, employing an international staff of 211. In every drilling team, most of the operational positions are filled by local people. In order to qualify them as quickly as possible, ZPEC Group Company has been conducting training courses for drilling, mud chemicals, diesel engine generator sets, HSE, etc. since its first overseas project. In addition, ZPEC equips each local staff with a “Chinese Master” to coach their work. At present 73% of the local staff have passed their primary drilling operational test and are qualified for their position. ZPEC’s “Employment Localization” HR strategy not only lowers the company’s labor costs, but also promotes the local government’s targeted employment ratios.
