At 1:00 am on Jan.7th, 2013, one more piece of good news came from SINOPEC Northwest Petroleum Bureau Zhenjing Block, as ZPEC No. 15 Team only took 24 days to finish the HH12P123 horizontal well.  With a depth of 2,980 meters and a horizontal length of 800 meters, the well was completed 19 days ahead the design drilling period.
While drilling, ZPEC No. 15 Team encountered many difficulties and problems, such as leakage and overflow. In order to prevent down-hole complicated incidents, the well was shut down four times and was ignited three times. Once the problems were solved, it only took 39 hours to drill the 800 meter horizontal section at rate of 20.52 m/h.
ZPEC No.15 Team has now spudded 4 wells and handed over 4 wells in the Zhenjing Block for SINOPEC.
