Soon after ZPEC Rig 21 received its complimentary letter from the Operator, ZPEC Rig 23 was awarded the Red Flag by Lukoil due to their excellent performance in the operation of well WQ2-224.  Additionally, Lukoil sent a complimentary letter, which also greatly encouraged the ZPEC Rig 23 Drilling Team.

In its complimentary letter, Lukoil pointed out that eight key performance indicators were exceeded: 1) For effectiveness, the operation was completed 1.5 days ahead of schedule; 2) On November 23, when facing a complicated down-hole situation, Rig 23 still completed its daily footage of 314m; 3) The well engineering loss was 20% which was 25% less time than other wells; 4) Drilling depth up to 3898m with the well inclination up to 70 degrees; 5) Horizontal displacement of 2528.43m; 6) Best cementing quality in 9 5/8" Casing and 7" tail pipe; 7) Drilling speeds up to 2,238 meters per month; 8) In the process of 12 1/4" and 8 1/2" borehole construction, the mud flow rate, clean rate and electrical sensing rate were all greatly improved.

Due to the high efficiency operation of each well, excellent technical levels, repeated commendations by the Operator, ZPEC drilling has established an excellent image in the overseas drilling market.
