After careful preparation, on the morning of November 29, nearly 200 employees from ZPEC Headquarters, ZPEC Equipment Company, and ZPEC International Engineering Company were gathered together at the Lingang Heavy Equipment Industrial Zone to attend the opening ceremony of "ZPEC Lingang Base Construction First-Stage Projects", thus demonstrating ZPEC’s continuing efforts to enhance its petroleum equipment manufacturing capacity.

On behalf of the Lingang Development and Construction Project, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Minhang United Development Co., Ltd., Mr. Qiu Tong, expressed his congratulations, saying that it is a milestone event for ZPEC in the course of its development.  He pointed out that with the increase of policy support to the Lingang Industrial Zone, ZPEC Group will be making a positive contribution to enhance domestic petroleum equipment manufacturing level and improving the industry competitiveness of the Zone.

ZPEC Group President, Mr. Li Chundi expressed his heartfelt thanks to the project leaders and guests at all levels that supported or participated in the Lingang construction project. In his speech, Mr. Li introduced the product positioning and development direction of the Lingang Base.  He requested the ZPEC Equipment Company, especially the manufacturing and R&D staff, to promote the "Made in ZPEC" brand image.  Being first-in-class in China and well-known worldwide, more customers at home and abroad will benefit from ZPEC's products and services. Finally, Mr. Li addressed ZPEC’s recent petroleum drilling engineering services achievements in the international market, hoping that all staff make continuous efforts to keep pace with the ZPEC's strategic transformation and development of the company.

It is understood that the first stage of the ZPEC Lingang Base construction project will cover an area of 130,666 square meters, with building areas of 58,943 square meters.  The planned duration of the whole construction project will be 300 days.  After the completion of the project, ZPEC Lingang Base will be the R & D and Manufacturing base of both its high level oil equipment, as well as its offshore oil equipment.
