On the afternoon of April 15, a ten-person Gazprom delegation, led by Deputy General Manager Sirazhutdin, arrived at the ZPEC project base for inspection.  Through careful inspection, the management of Gazprom project team made positive response to the spud of the first well - P5 well.

The management personnel of drilling, cementing, logging, security, and mud from both sides gathered to exchange information and discuss programs for the preparation of the project 's first well to ensure early spud and successful completion Well P5.  On behalf of ZPEC, Site Supervisor Lai Li made a detailed report to Gazprom on the preparation of the project 's first well, then gazprom managers put forward questions in terms of mud equipment and cementing technologies.  ZPEC personnel responded thoroughly and in detail to each question, one by one.  The responses dispelled doubts and won the full recognition of the Gazprom .

P5 Well will be 4,810 meters deep and is the first well in the project to be drilled by ZPEC Drilling Team 16.  ZPEC Rig 16 is currently in place and all equipment has been delivered.  After rectification and acceptance, P5 well will soon spud.
