On December 4th, the Safety Supervisor of GAZPROM Project, Mr Peter, went to the P04 well site to specifically reward the outstanding staff of ZPEC Rig20 in "preventing falling objects".  He awarded prizes and encouraged them to continue playing a leading role in making positive contributions for the HSE management work of the GAZPROM Project.

The "preventing falling objects" was a safety education activity that was trained by the security officer.  He presented a clear directive and understanding on how to prevent falling objects and then taught everyone how to look for and discover possible risks. Additionally, he collectively organized the group to reinforce the learning and to commend outstanding employees. In addition, in order to improve the HSE management level, ZPEC’s GAZPROM Project carried out various forms of training activities supported by the First Party, such as "A Word A Day", "H2S Prevention Exercise", "strict implementation of the PTW system", "risk identification", and so on. These activities greatly increased the safety awareness of the employees, especially the foreign employees, effectively evaded the current risks, and won everyone's consistent approval.

In the just completed quarterly safety work conference, the Security Department of GAZPROM praised the great progress of ZPEC on the safety work since the launch of the project, especially in the aspect of security education for the foreign employees. ZPEC’s Safety Director of GAZPROM Project, Zhu Deyi, said: "The GAZPROM Project started nearly a year ago and ZPEC has kept HSE work as the first priority, constantly progressing every day.  We will try to do the security work perfectly in order to provide a powerful guarantee for safe construction and for the protection of the drilling crew.”
