Team 21 and Team 23 were awarded “Outstanding Contribution Award of HSE management” by Baker Hughes<

Following the Honor Certifite of 1000-day safety operation awarded by Lukeoil, Team 21 and Team 23 acquired another good achievement in safety management and got the 2014 outstanding contribution award in HSE management of Asian-Pacific region issued by the president of Baker Hughes, who gave compliment to the safety management work of ZPEC Baker project. 2014 is the year getting major breakthrough in the safety management work of Baker project. Instructed and supported by leaders of ZPEC Group, and by the joint efforts of all staff, Baker project put the safety management in the first place all the time. The production was guarded by safety and would promote benefits. The management regulations were detailed continuously. Bells of safety was ringing and all staff were involved in the safety work of Baker hughes project not only in the personnel training but also the safety education on-site, not only in the risk analysis, but also the measures to cope with risks, and not only in the safety quality training to Chinese personnels, but also the safety education to foreign employees. It was these details that layed the foundation of such a high honor of Baker project. The achievements belonged to every ZPEC personnel and people who have instructed and helped the safety management work of Baker project. Facing the honor, Baker project team clearly realized that there was a big extensible space in their safety management. Therefore, they should make conclusion and self-examination in the following aspects. 1. Regulation establishment. Safety management regulations should be improved furtherly to ensure that the safety management has rules to follow. 2. Detailed measures. Detailed protective measures should be taken against different environment and working condition. 3. Execution enforcement. All staff should participate in the safety management, supervise mutually and take responsibility gradely. Forbid to stay the safety regulations just in writing. 4. Service awareness improvement. Improve safety awareness of employees by training continuously and improve their professional skills. Only when the employees realize the gap can they clear the direction and target and correct their attitude to realize their own values. 6. Violation investigation. Adjust the employees who have weak safety awareness and bad safety management execution force. Mr Shen, leader of the project expressed that Baker project would continue to carry out the safety management and gain the trust of the owner so as to gain more and larger orders in the competitive oversea drilling market.
