After more than 20 days and nights of hard work, ZPEC No. 17 Team successfully finished the new 50DB rig installation and commissioning, and formally started drilling.
The new 50DB rig, manufactured by ZPEC Kunlun Company, with 5,000 meters drilling depth and 1,500 HP, is able to meet middle-to-deep drilling requirements including the need for special drilling techniques.  Since early August, under the leadership of ZPEC Drilling Company Management, and with the technical support of ZPEC Kunlun Company, ZPEC No. 17 Team overcame bad weather conditions, complicated local relationships, and high mountain terrain difficulties.  The rig was successfully installed and commissioned, passing the client’s examination.
