After passing Russian GOST Authority in September 2008, on May 27, 12 types of drilling rigs and their accessories were also successfully certified RTN.  Therefore, ZPEC became the first Chinese drilling rig manufacturer to hold both Russian GOST and RTN certifications together.

At present, the industrial products authority system in Russia is separately from ISO and API.  The GOST is also known as the Russian national standards certification.  It is mainly for the inspection of quality and performance of imported products.  RTN is the quality and safety certification of drilling rigs and other industrial products.  All drilling rigs in Russia must pass RTN certification.
It took nearly one year of continual work for the application of these two certifications.  During this time, senior specialists of the Russian National Drilling Technology Inspection Bureau personally visited ZPEC manufacturing sites.  They gave us a very good conclusion concerning our product quality, enterprise scale, financial operation, management methodology, etc.

The authority of the Russian GOST and RTN certification means that ZPEC successfully obtained the permit to enter into the Russian market.
